I joined the CVC team in May 2022. I enjoy all of our patients and witnessing how truly caring Dr. Fitzgerald and all of the staff are with them. I was born and raised on the family farm West of Centralia. Outside of work, I enjoy flower and vegetable gardening and spending time with my husband at our cabin in the woods.

Receptionist

Employed since June 2021. I grew up in the Jefferson City MO area. Lived in the Kirksville area but have resided in Centralia Mo since 2018. I graduated from Columbia College with my Human Services degree, received my cosmetology license and lastly received my POST Certificate in Law enforcement from the Missouri Sheriff’s Association. I have ventured down several career paths, but the veterinary world was not one I thought I would end up in, but it has been the best decision I have ever made for myself and my 2 children. One of my favorite parts about working at CVC is creating a personal relationship with our clients and their furry loved ones! Dr. Fitzgerald and her clinic staff have been one of the biggest blessings in my life and I am proud to be a part of the CVC Dream Team.

My hobbies include spending time with my 2 daughters, Aniya and Braylin, and my Grandmother. Attending Friendship Church, Bible Studies and serving along side such amazing men and women. | am a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, and you won’t see me miss a game. Last but not least, I enjoy relaxing with my 3 cats, Henry, Matilda & Nacho.

Receptionist

I have worked at the clinic since March 2023. What I love most about working at the clinic is seeing happy, healthy animals. The tail wiggles and meeting new clients. Every day is a new fun filled adventure. Our work team is simply top notch. You won’t find more passionate people to take care of your fur babies.

My hobbies are spending time with my 2 sons, playing poker and watching NBA Basketball. Go Lakers!

Veterinary Nurse

Dr. Farmer gave me my first job when I was just a kid. I worked with him for many years watching and learning anything and everything and soaking it all up like a sponge. I left for 6 years. After working at another clinic for 3 years and spending another 3 years at the University of Missouri, I came back, happily returning home. I worked with Dr. Farmer again for many more years. He brought in Dr. Fitzgerald and when his time came to retire, Dr. Fitzgerald bought the practice. I had a choice to make. To stay or to move on. I stayed. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I can truly and sincerely say I’m one of the lucky ones who love their job. And even better, I love the people I work with. This place is just beyond special.

I love our patients. Seeing them grow. Seeing them happy and healthy and helping them when they’re not. It makes me feel whole. It’s hard though. I worry and lose sleep over our patients but that is how I know I’m doing exactly what I’m supposed to be doing where I’’m supposed to be doing it.

Veterinary Nurse

I have been with CVC since February 2023. I have always wanted to work in veterinary medicine in some aspect. I have found what makes my soul happy. Every day presents itself different. We see young and old patients. Through this, we truly learn how precious life really is and how much pets make an impact on our lives. Pets become our family, our best friend, who we lean on when we are sad and happy. Seeing the love between an owner and their pet is my favorite part. My hobbies are hanging out with my husband, family and fur babies. Being outdoors, painting, taking photos, driving my truck and decorating.
